Be More Tennessee partners with the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH), Healthy Development Coordinators to conduct Active Living Workshops in HOP counties. These half-day workshops convene elected officials and key community partners to learn about active transportation opportunities, assess local needs, and develop action plans tailored to rural communities. Findings from these workshops, paired with community-engaged planning, identify clear opportunities to improve access to safe, active transportation, and inform subsequent initiatives to improve physical activity.
